Homemade Muesli 🤍

A simple, nourishing staple for your mornings

There’s something really comforting about having a go-to breakfast that’s ready, healthy, and loved by everyone in the house.

This homemade muesli is exactly that.

It’s one of those recipes I always come back to : easy to make, full of good ingredients, and perfect for both you and your kids.

Why I love this muesli
  • Quick to prepare (make once, enjoy all week)

  • Kid-friendly (especially with fine oats 🤍)

  • You can adapt it endlessly

And also… the nutrition side is just so good:

  • Oats → rich in fiber → support digestion & keep you full longer

  • Chia & flaxseeds → packed with omega-3 → great for brain, hormones & overall balance

  • Seeds & dried fruits → provide natural energy, vitamins & minerals

  • No added sugars or processed ingredients → just real, nourishing food

This means you get steady energy throughout the morning, instead of the quick sugar spike & crash you often get from store-bought cereals.

It’s one of those small habits that really makes a difference 🤍

What you need
  • Fine oats (porridge oats — I love using these, also perfect for kids)

(sometimes I mix with rice flakes for variation)

  • Mulberries

  • Sunflower seeds

  • Chia seeds

  • Broken flaxseeds

  • Raisins

And honestly… you can add anything you love 🤍

Think:

  • Nuts

  • Coconut flakes

  • Cacao nibs

  • Other dried fruits

How to make it
  1. Add all ingredients into a large bowl

  2. Mix everything well

  3. Store in an airtight jar

That’s it 🤍

Make a bigger batch and you’re set for the week.

How I like to eat it

This is where you can really make it your own:

  • With yoghurt

  • With almond milk

  • As a warm porridge

And don’t forget the toppings 🤍

My go-to:

  • Fresh fruit (kiwi, banana…)

  • A spoon of almond butter → for those good fats

A little reminder 🤍

Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated.

Sometimes it’s just having simple, good ingredients ready —so taking care of yourself becomes easy.

If you try it, let me know 🤍

I love seeing your versions of these simple rituals.

Marie
